Scott Leemon, attorney forIDJ SVP Sales Jim Roppo, who was busted Friday whenJustin Bieber fans caused a near-riot at a Long Island mall (see 11/21 item below), issued the following statement on behalf of his client: “The charges against James Roppo are completely unfounded and ridiculous. It’s clear that the Nassau Police Department are unfairly and unjustly scapegoating Mr. Roppo. The Roosevelt Mall and the Nassau Police were unprepared and had a complete lack of control at yesterday’s event and it is incomprehensible that they will not take responsibility. We will vigorously fight against all of these misdirected charges in court.”
Also, it must be noted that James Roppo has a great moustache

Awesome. Michael Lazerow who is the head of Buddy Media has said that making money through social media is impossible, sort of going against the core competency of his agency.
To be honest, his statement isn’t a complete spit in the face of his agency. He says that it will takes brands and marketers to associate with trends, instead of making quick bucks.
